PERSERVERING PODCAST PRESERVED
Teo Octavia ’18
Teo is a creative storyteller hailing from Upland, California and part of Pomona Academy for Youth Success (PAYS). During their time at Pomona, they served as a leader within the community and created podcast interviewing not only the FLI Scholars Club (Episode 3), but also the Vietnamese Student’s Association (Episode 2) and the Indigenous Peer Mentor Program (Episode 4).
Collective Memory Project
Published in 2018, the Collective Memory Project is a four episode podcast produced by our very own Teo! Episode three features Muhammad Jalal ’14 and Ashley Land ’14 and the history of the FLI club, formerly known as “Quest.” We recommend checking out their other episodes featuring community organizations; they are the Vietnamese Students Association (VSA) in episode two, and the Indigenous Peer Mentoring Program (IPMP) in episode four.
